That’s why KBLI came with AC3 product which has double transmit electric power, and as a result the cable wouldn’t expand too much like ACSR cable did. In other words, AC3 is a “high capacity and low sag” cable.

Furthermore, when PLN do a maintenance (replacing old transmission cable every 15-20 years), if they used AC3, they could just replace the cable without replacing the towers, while if they used ACSR even it costs cheaper than AC3, they need to replace the towers too.
