At VOKSEL, we meet with Mr. Yogiawan (Director and Corporate Secretary) and Mrs. Lucy Andayani (Sales and Marketing General Manager).
VOKSEL also enjoyed strong 1H 2016 with net profitreach IDR 97 billion vs IDR 2 billion in 1H 2015. Their sales in 1H 2016 increased to IDR 885 bllion vs IDR 842 billion in 1H 2015.
Mr. Yogiawan and Mrs. Lucy explained to us that it’s TRUE cable business is now flourishing with PLN getting serious about 35 GW project.
They acknowledged the biggest problem PLN facing right now is land acquisition and financing issue.
VOKS is confident that their gross margin will stay at high teens and they also believed 35 GW project is only one of many growth stories for cable industry.
VOKS said 35 GW project will followed with a industrial area projects and then residential project, thus creating many opportunity again for cable companies like VOKS.
We loved that VOKS and KBLI shared a same optimistic view, we then go back to our office knowing cable companies story is actually not just a one year story !
