BENEFICIARY OF JAKARTA SMART CARD

Ramayana is the biggest beneficiary of Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) program. Students from disadvantaged / poor families can use KJP to shop at Ramayana for education and daily needs.

Ramayana guided that in high season months,KJP cancontributeupto15-20% of sales at that month.

More than 500.000 students receive KJP subsidy every year, and can be only used with EDC machine so the government can track when and where students use it. Once government suspect any violation of it’s use, the government will instruct the Bank DKI to ban student’s card..

Biggest KJP impact to Ramayana performance usually happened in June- July period (back to school and lebaran) and also in December.

Jakarta Indonesia Card (KJP) guarantees and ensures that all school-aged children from disadvantaged families receive financial assistance for education up to the completion of senior high school.
